Just 5km from the heart of Bundaberg QLD, Kalki Moon Distillery offers a must-do experience to tourists and locals alike. Our family-owned and operated Bundaberg Distillery is open for you to tour and experience for yourself seven days a week. We hope you’ll love it as much as we do.
Come visit and step into the world of Small Batch Rum & Gin Production at Kalki Moon Distillery Bundaberg.
Come out back with our distillers and learn all about the gin creation process. We’ll take you through a guided tour of the distillery, explaining each process throughout the Distillery. Letting you in on the special Kalki Moon touches we make along the way.
We take great pride in showcasing how we operate at Kalki Moon Distillery. Our tours allow you to experience behind the scenes, be educated from our passionate tour guides, and learn about all the things that set Kalki Moon aside from the rest.
We’d love to show you around the distillery. Here’s everything you need to know about our tours. We are family friendly but tours are 18+ only.
Tours run daily - refer to booking system for available time slots (more slots available during holiday seasons)
$15 per person
Our tours are for 18+ only. U/18s cannot be left unattended in the distillery
Tour & tasting takes roughly one hour
Our bar closes 30 minutes prior to daily closing time
Bookings are required for groups of more than 10 people
We couldn’t spend an hour taking you through the distillery and not offer you a drink afterwards. You’ll receive two complimentary tastings of your choice after the tour. Once you’ve enjoyed your complimentary tastings, you can head to our gift shop or over to the bar, where you can enjoy a cocktail or two?
Once you’ve enjoyed your complimentary tasting, you’ll walk into the Cellar Door, our gift shop. Here, you can collect a range of items, varying from specialist alcohol and merch, to gifts and even bar runners.
Kalki Moon is located on Commercial Street in Svensson Heights, just a 10-minute drive from the heart of Bundaberg. Commercial Street is found just off of Enterprise Street and Johanna Boulevard, just a short drive from Bundaberg Airport. We have light snacks available for purchase, however we do not provide meals.
Guests are more than welcome to BYO food platters or snacks.
Children under 18 years old are welcome to come along. However, they’ll need to be under constant adult supervision and may not enter the bar service area.
Unfortunately, we cannot allow BYO alcohol, or any games on-site.
Pets are allowed on site – under supervision in our Gin Garden (weather permitting)

We schedule additional tours to handle this demand, however, we do absolutely recommend you book your spot to avoid missing out. Please Note: Our distillery is fully operational Monday to Friday. If you’d like to see the magic of small batch spirits being made or chat to our production team, weekdays are the best time to catch us. We still run tours on the weekends, with our experienced team walking you through the distillery.
